HISTORY:
Dai grew up a distant childhood. He was often found working in the house. He really didn't have the normal childhood one would expect. He never got to play with others or got to be a normal kid. This sparked a curiosity within the young blonde. His parents were hard workers.
His father was a gym leader of Sinoh and his mother was a author for a pokemon magazine. He was often kept inside to help with cleaning and such, that his mother could not do because she was constantly fighting. It was because of this Dai became a rather excellent cook and became sort of a woman when it came to cleanliness.
It would be when he was fourteen that his life would collapse. His father hadn't come home from the gym that day. Dai ended up getting really worried since he always came home at the same time. He interrupted his mother and she being angry with the boy slapped him for doing such. "YOU NEVER INTERRUPT ME! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!! she growled at him.
Dai stumbled out of the room. He ran out of the house and toward his father's gym. It was sun down when he got there. His house wasn't far from the gym. What he saw was a fire. Dai's eyes widened. "FATHER!" he cried out. He raced toward the burning Gym. He ran inside the inferno. He coughed as the smoke started moving through his lungs.
As the boy moved through he found his father trapped underneath some rubble. The boy tried to dig the man out but eventually he ran out of air. He fainted to the ground. It should of been over for the boy, but then a loud cry sounded and Lugia saved the boy though his father was already gone.
A year has passed and the boy now has traveled to the Kanto Region. Lugia now his own pokemon. Dai wasn't sure what he would find in this region. But he hoped it would be something new.
