[/font][/center]For those trainers who are looking for a way to enter into the pokemon league, challenging Gym leaders is the key. They stand by, waiting for challengers all over this region and will take on anyone wanting to battle. Each gym leader individually represents a specific badge and an element. By defeating these leaders and obtaining a badge you with not only meet the requirements the enter into the pokemon league but will gain certain prizes and advantages as well.
Becoming A Gym Leader
There are three possible ways of becoming a Gym leader. The first, and possibly the easiest is to register to be one. But we all know that the Gym leader positions will be filled over time. So there are two more ways. Gym leaders, depending on their personal preference may take on up to four apprentices at a time. These apprentices can be as young as 5 years old but cannot take the previous gym leader's place till they turn 15. Becoming an apprentice secures you a future as a gym leader.
Finally the third way of becoming a gym leader is by challenging them not for the badge, but for their title. When challenging a Gym Leader like this, please be aware that the rules they use when being challenged for a badge may change drastically. When simply battling trainers they must use pokemon of a specific element and level. When being challenge for their title, they may use whatever pokemon at whatever level they see fit.
