Shadow is a playful little Eevee which has been with Crystal for several weeks now. He's not afraid to risk life and limb for his master and always jumps out to protect her if the need should arise. Unlike most pokemon, Shadow dislikes pokeballs, therefore he can mostly be seen walking by Crystal's side.

HISTORY:
Until recently, Crystal had been living a happy, normal life with her two parents and her brother. Or at least it was as normal as it could get in these dark times. Things changed however, when her brother who was currently a member of the Elite Four, left on a mission in another region.
It started with just a simple fire which then chased the family outside their home. Once outside all three noticed a band of angry pokemorphs surrounding them. This might have been fine if they had a way of protecting themselves from the onslaught that came next. Because Crystal's brother had left on a mission, he took all but one tiny Eevee with him.
Knowing that only death awaited them, Crystal's parents both turned to her and said their goodbyes. She was told to take Shadow the Eevee with her as protection. As she ran into the forest, she never looked back and promised herself that one day her parents would be avenged.
